A week's review

This week kept us busy and going once again. First, I am proud to say...Kamalee has official said 'bye-bye' to her bobba for the last week! YAY! She has been using her sippie for a week. We still have some thickener but is at half the normal amount. Hopefully this week we will be attempting to lower it again. She has also been brushing her teeth. Well, with a little mommy help of course. But she loves it. She is a little cruiser anymore. She is quickly growing and becoming a big girl. She crawls, fast. And is moving all around the furniture and is constantly going up and down. She hasn't yet dared to let go off both hands and attempt the feet movement, but she is close. Everyday, it seems that she does something new.
Monday, Justin once again started city league basketball. Hoping for a year without a black eye...he came home his first night with a black ... toe?! His toe is very swollen and bruised still...he says its not hurting but it looked nasty. Pics to come. He also joined a 2nd team with my bro Randy and Cousin Kevin....this team had quite a few players. But it's a good thing as most of them are late 20, non-basketball players. Which requires some rest time :) They didn't win, but I couldn't tell you why. Kam and I spent most of our time in the bathroom. She went 5 days without incident (which means no puking. that's huge for her!!) but apperantly she saved it all up for when I was finally out of the house. Needless to say her and I both smelled terrible and missed watching the game. I think she may have drank too much milk before we left and that was the problem. We haven't had major incidents since so we are watching how much she drinks at a time and making sure it isn't more than a few ounces. I think she doesn't understand when she is full. We are working on this and will be talking the the G doc next month.
I will try post some pictures of last week, soon.

no plans weekend

our no plans weekend turned busy once again. Friday my sister spent the night and we head to Clark on Saturday to watch Parker wrestle. He did awesome and came home with his first 1st place trophy! What a little stud.
Kamalee's newest favorite hang out...standing in front of the tv. She spends a lot of her day standing, plopping and repeating. luckily she hasn't learned to press buttons yet.

Kamalee's first bubble bath with a friend.

GIVEAWAY!

I love giveaways...and this one I love most! It is coming from my sister-in-laws' website. She is so amazingly talented. The give-a-way is for 250 free business cards. Check it out, enter and LOOK through her work!

Our Weekend

Saturday we spent the day cheering on the Watertown Hoopsterz (my 6th grade neice Chelsey's team). They were in a tourney in Watertown and did well....they got first! Way to go Chels! Kam was all decked out in her purple and white. She love watching the girls run the court. When she did get restless of sitting, cousin Kiara took her to play ball with her friend. Which she thoroughly enjoyed and love crawling around the other half of the gym. Her butt and socks were black by the end of the day but she had so much fun.
Chelsey and Kamalee after her win. Phone pictures kinda stink lately.... If you remember the train from the last post...that was from Papa Joe to cousin Sawyer. He thought Kam got left out so got her a Dora Jeep together. OMG...it is the cutest thing ever to watch her ride it. I wanted to buy one this past summer for next summer but I never thought she would be able to do it by this coming summer. So much for that, she is riding now! Althought the steering has yet to come :) She likes to ba-ha across all her toys. Thanks Papa Joe, this is gonna be so much fun this summer when we can ride outside!
Therapy update: Kamalee just finished her OT for the week and we discussed some of her new skills. Not to brag...BUT...she thinks that Kamalee is going to be very bright! She can't believe some of the things that she does. I haven't been working with her on coloring but she can do the dots...which is the first step. She has also been pointing at things lately and starting to sign. Now we have seen the sign for 'more' 'eat' 'all done' and 'milk'. So that means with signs she is saying about 6 words. 1 more than the goal the ST had set for her. Kamalee is so attentive to everything and really watches everything we do. For example...she knows how to text. Well not quite but if you see her with my phone she mimmicks the actions to a T. Those thumbs just go go go. She also likes grabbing the remote from Dad and changing the boring news to PBS cartoons each morning. It really surprises us how much she does things that we do that we don't even notice we do...I can't wait to see all the progress she will make this year!

Welcoming Twenty Ten!

We have slowly and coldly welcomed in the new year. With it being so cold and Justin being gone for 3 days, we haven't been doing too much.

This is our New Year's Eve Princess...I think she like the noise toys the best! She was a little wiggly so my camera phone couldn't keep up :)

sleepy

Kamalee's newest accomplishment...she started pulling hersefl up to the tv stand walking from end to end. We are so excited to see some steps coming along. She is trying her hardest to stand up on her own but chickens out towards the end and plops down. I wouldn't be surprised if she takes off in the next couple of months! GO GIRL!

Justin was in MN for school again....one day while he was gone, we visited Nan and the kids. Kamalee got to try out cousin Sawyer's train ride. They didn't like riding together so much, but separately they both love it. I was surprised Kamalee figured it out right away and was circling in a matter of minutes...below is a video of her first ride.

She loved stopping to kiss and wave....what a little cutie.
